Adsorbents

  Molecular Sieve

3A – Potassium form of the Type A crystal structure. The 3A excludes most hydrocarbon molecules from adsorbing, while allowing water adsorption.

4A – This is the standard sodium form Type A crystal structure. Used for the dehydration of various gas and liquid streams.

5A – The calcium form of the Type A crystal structure will adsorb molecules up to 5 angstroms.

13X – An alkali metal alumino-silicate in the sodium form of the Type X crystal structure.

Carbon Molecular Sieve – commonly used for nitrogen purification.

ECM provides technical support, turn-key solutions for material replacement, equipment and systems.

  Activated Alumina

           Desiccant grades for dehydration

           Chloride removal

Fluoride removal – Refinery and water treating applications

Claus Catalyst – Standard, Promoted and Titania

           TBC removal

           COS hydrolysis

           Active alumina support media

Activated Carbon:  Virgin or reactivated; powdered, granular or pellets,

bituminous, sub-bituminous, lignite, coconut, peat or wood based.

           Amine & Glycol purification

Water treating – potable and waste water

           Edible Oil purification

           Oder and or color removal

           Catalyst substrate

CO2 (ACID GAS) Adsorbent – A unique material developed for the removal of carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide and other contaminants

from hydrocarbon process streams. It is intended for use in ‘wet’ and mixed phase gas/hydrocarbon streams including ethylene, propylene

       and LPG applications.

  Silica Gel Beads

           Standard desiccant grade

           Hydrocarbon recovery grade

Guard / Buffer gel to protect sensitive adsorbents from process upsets
