Adsorbents

  Molecular Sieve

3A – Potassium form of the Type A crystal structure. The 3A excludes most hydrocarbon molecules from adsorbing, while allowing water adsorption.

4A – This is the standard sodium form Type A crystal structure. Used for the dehydration of various gas and liquid streams.

5A – The calcium form of the Type A crystal structure will adsorb molecules up to 5 angstroms.

13X – An alkali metal alumino-silicate in the sodium form of the Type X crystal structure.

Carbon Molecular Sieve – commonly used for nitrogen purification.
